John brings over 14 years of Intellectual Property experience both from private law and in-house practice. He received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from The Georgia Institute of Technology. He is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office as a registered Patent Agent. He gained engineering experience as a systems integrator and control system engineer through the Division of Professional Practice while attending Georgia Tech. Upon graduation, he spent the following fourteen years preparing and prosecuting patent applications, and managing IP Portfolios, as a Patent Agent in the greater Atlanta-Metro and Washington D.C. areas.
John has a broad range of experience in U.S. and foreign patent preparation and prosecution in software, electrical, medical, and mechanical technologies. John also has specialized experience in the semiconductor, machine learning, and artificial intelligence arts.
