Dawn Minter is an intellectual property paralegal with over 25 years of experience involving U.S. and international patents. Her experience includes patent prosecution, patent maintenance, patent litigation, patent due diligence, trademark prosecution and copyright registration.
Dawn maintains, organizes, and files all documents associated with the preparation and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patent applications, including electronic filings. She coordinates and prepares patent declaration and assignment documents, handles correspondence with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) as well as foreign intellectual property offices and foreign attorneys, and she reviews and evaluates incoming and outgoing U.S. and foreign patent correspondence. Dawn also communicates directly with clients in preparing and filing their patent applications, and prosecuting the filed applications.
Her past and current clients include major corporations in the social media, software, semiconductor, consumer electronics, medical devices, pharmaceutical, biomedical, chemical, optical devices, athletic equipment, and automotive industries. Dawn’s previous experience includes working as a senior IP paralegal in Tysons Corner, Virginia and Washington, D.C.
